Ballistic Separator

  • Team Details

The ballistic separator is an aggregate used to separate one input material stream into two or three fractions. The big advantage of the ballistic separator in comparison to other separating devices is the combination of the sorting method in weight, dimension, density and form. Ballistic separators are designed to segregate waste called biodegradable and non-biodegradable materials. They can also sort fine particles that can collect separately with the optional variable screen openings. The ballistic machine is the high segregation device that segregates waste of different types based on their size and weight. Waste products having similar shapes and sizes are separated from the rest two or three fractions for example, stones, C&D waste, glass, and metal substances are easily separated from the reusable plastics paper, cardboard, while rest undersize material will get separated.

Features:

  • Sorting of light packaging material and classification of polymer fractions.

  • Screening and Separation of contraries in plants used for the treatment of substitute fuel.

  • Material Stream Separation as a first step of Separation within the mechanical Biological treatment of residual waste.

  • Post classification of the biologically treated fraction before dump garbage.
